At Boys & Girls Clubs of Emerald Valley, our teen programs at the Coleman Clubhouse and Bethel Clubhouse provide a safe, supportive and engaging environment where teens can build friendships, develop leadership skills and stay connected to positive mentors and experiences during some of the most important years of their development.

Our programs are designed specifically for older youth and focus on helping teens grow through service opportunities, leadership experiences, recreation, academic support and community involvement.

Torch Club

Torch Club provides opportunities during the school year for members to demonstrate the positive impact youth and teens can have on their communities. Through small-group, peer-driven Leadership and Service Clubs, members ages 10-13 identify needs in their Club or community and create and implement service projects to address those needs.

Leadership and Service Sessions allow members to explore, practice and strengthen critical leadership skills while building confidence, teamwork and connection with their peers.

To learn more or to join, contact our teen directors, Selina Scott (Coleman Club) or Tyson Phillips (Bethel Club).

Teen Nights

If your teen is interested in Torch Club or just wants to attend with a friend, this is their chance to try it out. Teen nights run twice a month on a Friday or Saturday night. Teens enjoy scheduled programs, dinner and a late-night activities around the theme of the evening.
